No they don’t,but a lot of the popular models have adapters for the popular batteries or cartridges (i.e. you can use KR808D1 carts on a 901 battery with an adapter) I don’t know what model you are thinking of buying, but you should check out an e cigarette forum first. I sell ecigarettes in the UK, the KR808D1 model, and the ones I have seen in kiosks or gas stations here are very poor quality, but that might not be the case in the US

The most popular models are the 901 and 501. But the model I sell is good for a no fuss, first timer, particularly if you planing on using it out and about. Most of the pre-filled cartridges are refillable and you’ll probably find you prefer custom flavours rather than the stock stuff once you get going. Being a long time smoker, I find the same enjoyment in it after a learning curve and a couple of different e-cigs – No, I wasn’t going to quit smoking – I love to smoke – I just wanted an alternative to switch to, to help cut down… etc. and wound up giving up tobacco within 2 weeks of getting my e-cigs. To avoid the whole "what do I buy" scenario, I would recommend you check out some youtube video reviews and read up on them on some forums as models and prices vary by a lot.
