me and some of my friends have been looking at switching to electronic cigarettes. between two of us we spent $50 on five packs of Djarum Blacks, and it was kind of a waking up point that were ready for the change. Ive looked around and I am kinda getting lost in all the mumbo jumbo on all the websites. My friend that is making the switch with me, I believe, has ordered his from Blu Cigs, and so far it seems the best price for the most product (I also like that they give you samples of each flavor). I looked around here and saw some good reviews on it, and also for Green Smoke, but I wasnt too impressed with them.
Is there any other brands I should check out?
Have you had any issues regarding the "smoking anywhere" stuff?
Has anyone traveled via airplane with them/ did you have any issues?
How exactly do you know when a cartrige is out?
Anything else I should know?

There is a lot you should know. First – stay away from smoking everywhere/anywhere – their model is an overpriced RN4081 and i can guarantee you won’t like it when you get it home. (Experience =/ )

2nd. Go to Vapersforum.com or E-cigarette-forum.com and check out some information on there. Also you can watch some youtube vids. There are MANY different models and prices vary by a lot. Green Smokes being one of the most expensive, Blu…. mmmm whenever they ship, could be 6 weeks? anyway is ok, but most people switch from it. It’s still to expensive for what you get.

If you like the 2 pc Green smokes model, then look into the KR808D model (less expensive than Green Smokes). If the 3 pc is your preference the 3 most popular models are the M401, Joye 510, DSE 901, and DSE 801. Just so you know what’s what but again, there are many other models. LOL

Both of those forums have links to reputable vendors and everyone is willing to help you out and answer questions.

once you get your e-cig, give it a little time to get used to it and you’ll love it. There’s a learning curve, but after that… you’ll be fine.

It’s really worth it.

[Side Note] I will add this just so that nobody comes in asking what an E-Cigarette is and then gets reported or something. An E-Cigarette is an electronic device that (sometimes) looks like a cigarette (they can also look like pens) which has a cartridge in it filled with a mix of water, propylene glycol, flavor and nicotine. They are smokeless, tar free, virtually odorless and come in several strengths INCLUDING nicotine FREE. It looks like a person is smoking, but what is actually being seen is the water vaporizing which gives the "smoker" the feel and look of real smoke.

As a smoker, let me give you some advice: BUY AN E-CIGARETTE!

I tried the pill (placebo), the patch (stickers), and the gum (horse cud), and none of them helped me at all. Do you want to know why they didn’t work? Because I don’t want to quit smoking!!! lol I love smoking!

After buying my E-Cig, it took me about 2 weeks before I stopped smoking tobacco cigarettes completely… now I only smoke my E-Cig. While I haven’t quit (the ecig), I have cut back on how often I smoke–AND it’s reassuring to know that the time I DO spend smoking, I’m doing my body infinitely less harm than with real ciggies (pretty much the only bad thing in what I smoke now is the nicotine).

This sounds kind of weird, but I never intended to quit smoking when I bought mine. I just wanted to be healthier (and after using this, I can say that I am SOOOO much healthier). P.S. If you find the right distributors, esmoking is way cheaper than smoking real ciggies. I used to be a pack a day smoker ($4.00 a day), now I go through MAYBE $1.00 in eliquid a day… and I have to smoke A LOT to go through that much.

Oh, just some advice from when I started: don’t bother with cartridges, go straight to the eliquid… yes, it looks goofy filling up when you’re barhopping, but you get a more "real" smoking experience when you ‘drip’ as opposed to using the disposable carts. Do a youtube search on this stuff, people have lots of reviews and tutorials and things along those lines.

I want one every day. Every day for the past 8 months! This is the 4th time I’ve quit, I quit for 10 months last time and started smoking again for a few months then I quit again and its been 8 months this time. So…I ordered Blu Electronic cigarettes with NO nicotine…I dont really know anyone who uses electronic cigs but Ive read reviews and they seem good. I thought that maybe if I could have something that seemed like a cig and even had the smoke (its water vapor) and flavored like a cig it would reduce the urge to smoke a real one for me. I got nicotine free electronic cigs because I dont want to get hooked on the nicotine again. Has anyone tried these and do you think they would help me? I think I might relapse soon if I dont do this…I loved smoking! just not the smell and health problems that come with it! So…if anyone could help me out on this that’d be great.
