I’m considering buying a Teslair Electronic cigarette. Has anybody used these?

by Author on August 17, 2010

I’ve been looking for a reasonably prices electronic cigarette. I found a company called Teslair but haven’t seen a lot of reviews. Has anybody used these? If so, would you recommend them?

I actually use Teslair and really like it.

Before using them I tried, Blu, Green Smoke, Smoking everywhere and a 510.

I don’t claim to be an expert on the subject, but I really like the unit. It smokes much easier than other ones I tried and I find that the cartomizers last a lot longer. They also produce tons of vap with very litter effort. I often refill mine and that is easy, the cap pops right off with a paper clip and if you use a dropper it refills easy. I also like the size of the cartomizers, they hold a lot of juice.

They also recharge quick. The site says 1.5 hours but in my experience it’s less than that.

Shipping has always been quick and it’s free. It’s true the cartomizers appear more expensive but they are not 4 a piece, more like $2.50. You also need to consider that while the cartomizers are more expensive than something like blu, they hold WAY more juice, and that’s why I think they cost a more. They also don’t get ejuice all over your mouth and you don’t have to worry about replacing or cleaning atomizers.

Overall I’ve really enjoyed using them and will continue to use them. I would recommend.

I also just checked their site and they are running a special this weekend. 15% off your order, that’s not to shabby.

I just checked out the product and read several reviews (although you never really know if those reviews are planted or not). It seems to be a decent model for a two-piece. It might be worth a shot but relatively untested products are always a gamble.

I am not a big fan of two-piece models, however. The whole concept of the cartomizer is strange to me. I don’t need a new atomizer every time a cartridge runs dry – my Joye 510 atomizers usually last me a couple of months. Because you are essentially buying a new atomizer with every cartridge purchased, it looks like you are paying about $3 per cartridge – very high!

Although they can technically be refilled with e-juice, it is rather inconvenient. It involves the use of tools and/or syringes.

They also seem to be a very new company and seem to have problems keeping things in stock. Finally, although the price initially looks good, a starter kit only comes with one battery and an extra battery costs a whopping $22 (what do you smoke while it is charging without kicking in for that extra battery?). You have to pay an extra $12 for a charger that will plug into a wall, as well. I do not know how quickly they ship or what method they use since their web site does not address those questions.

I have tried seven or eight models and always come back to my Joye 510. It is dependable, puts out a ton of vapor and you can get supplies for it EVERYWHERE. I get mine at http://e-cigexpress.com because their prices are very reasonable (less than $40) and they ship ridiculously fast – I usually get my stuff in two days!

"The Wizard" I agree the 510 is a good unit, but I disagree in your arguments regarding 2 piece units.

Yes, you need something to pull off the mouth piece and inner ring to refill. You can use anything you can fit in it (a pencil, a paper clip, the tip of your key), I wouldn’t really consider those things "tools". Most refill liquid comes in a dropper bottle, no needle required.

The refill process on both a 510 & a 2 piece unit is very similar, so that would ALSO make the 510 rather inconvenient per your statement. I usually get around 10-20 refills out of my cartomizer before I need to replace it. I use an average of 5 a month. (average price is $1.50-$2). The 510 atomizer also burns up and needs replaced (from the site you listed $10.97). I would say overall they are pretty similar in cost.

They are BOTH good starter units, pick the one you feel you would like better.

Quitting is always the best option. I would check any adverse affects cause by not just smoking but nicotine…and of course, ask your physician.

I quit after 10 years of smoking traditional cigarettes by switching to electronic. I think 50% of it for me was the actual act of smoking, which the e-cigarette obviously helps. The ecig doesn’t smell, no second hand smoke, you can smoke it pretty much everywhere, and you still get your nicotine with much less chemicals!

I guess the companies don’t make quit smoking or health claims due to FDA regulations but common sense says 4000+ chemicals vs. a few is going to be much much healthier for you.

As far as brands, just do your research. I tried a few before finding ProSmoke from http://www.prosmokestore.com but everyone might want something different. Check cigreviews and electroniccigarettespot for opinions and reviews. The other brands came close but I am very content with what I have now.

In the long run, it is also much cheaper. I would say 50+% for smokers. God this sounds like an infomercial….but do your research and good luck quitting!

I just did some investigation on them and it looks a bit cheap. Ill have to order one to check it out but it doesnt come with much at all and even though their starter kits are low price the replacement cartridges are 4$ a peice almost! Thats higher then any other ecig I have ever seen!

should check out http://www.ecigsavings.com and read some reviews on other brands. The upfront cost of those may be cheap but the long run your gonna pay ALOT!
