I am looking to invest in a company that manufactures e-cigarettes. I have been having trouble finding even a ticker symbol to link to a e-cigarette company. I would prefer something in United States and no a stock of China or something of that sort.

No, there are none listed on the U.S. or Hong Kong stock exchange. You can find a few medical device companies listed on the Shenzhen stock exchange that manufacture these products along with other medical equipment, but as a foreign individual investor you should not invest in the Shenzhen exchange since you cannot trade the A shares.
Not sure if this is even a good investment. However, why not get on alibaba.com or globalsources.com and try to find a factory and become a regional volume distributor if you think e-cigarettes are a great investment? Your risk becomes much lower while the profit potential is still good.

At the present time their are no US manufacturers, they are all based in China. But the GreenSmoke is planning to start manufacturing in the US soon.
