Also, does anyone know if that rechargable carrying case from the "Blu" electronic cig company would also work for the Red Dragon brand or is that a different design? Does anyone know of a rechargable carrying case that works for the Red Dragon or Green Smoke brand?

The battery life of the Red Dragon ecig and Green Smoke ecig are pretty much the same. After all they are compatible. The blu cig on the go charger does not fit Red Dragon or Green Smoke ecigs. The blu ecig is smaller in radius and simply different.
I am not aware of any other brands with rechargable carrying case.
For best battery life I would recommend the Cirrus ecig. It is a little longer and the battery life is much better. See here for user ratings:
